About

My name is Jack Chambers and I currently reside in a very remote portion of Oregon where I seem to be about the only pigeon breeder for many miles around.

I have been breeding and flying Birmingham Rollers since the 1970's and North American High Flying Rollers since the 1980's. I also keep a small loft of old fashioned Utility Kings for home squabbing purposes, as well as some assorted odds and ends for genetic purposes.

I breed all my birds (except the Kings) in individual pair pens so that I have 100% control of my breedings. Most of my rollers are all flown Old English Style, which is to say that I do not use traps or perches on my kit boxes.

I am self employed as an independent book publisher that specializes in books about self reliance, homesteading, poultry, pigeons, game birds, dogs and other avenues of animal breeding. This fortunately, does not take up as much of my life as it probably sounds, due to the advent of digital technology. This leaves me much time to devote to my interests in pigeons and other animals.

Please note: I am not in the business of selling and shipping pigeons. The contents of this blog is only a way to share my experiences with with others
